AO is currently available for assigning officials to soccer matches with contracts as simple as: single games, tournaments, seasons, etc, mostly in the northern California inland area, and is open to possibilities of assigning officials in other areas and for other sports, but would need sub-assignors in some out-of-area scenarios.
Be an AO Area Sub-Assignor?
If you'd like to do your own assigning but want someone else to take care of billing, payments to officials, organizing software scheduling, game reminders, 1099s, etc., then AssignOfficial may be of assistance for you. Please see AO/Sub-Assignor info at bottom left of "Operating Info" page.

All AO Participants:
All AO officials, assignors, mentors, assessors, etc, are independently contracted and none are to be considered employees of AssignOfficial.
All AO officials, assignors, mentors, assessors, etc, accepting, requesting, partaking in, etc, assignments with AO are doing so based upon their personal capbilities and availabilities.
All event holders, sponsors, parks, schools, leagues, groups, etc, are independent of AO and none are to be considered employees of AssignOfficial.
AO uses the services of several assigning platforms. It is possible that information seen on one platform could actually be assigned through another platform. In some cases assigning could even be through another assigning group.

TYSL Jamboree 8/24/24:
The TYSL 2024 Jamboree is scheduled for August 24. Please pencil this date in on your calendar as it is expected to be a full day of referee mentoring opportunities for new and returning referees.
The schedule is not yet known but there will be in-house shortened length games, and full length games if TYSL has any U12 and up home league games on that day (the U12 and up league games will need certified USSF refs).
Fall Soccer:
The earliest AO games foreseen coming up currently are junior high soccer in the Redding CA area (and possibly some youth rec, high school, and adult league soccer). Those will begin mid to late summer and run through February.

Receive email info about upcoming officiating opportunities.
If you are already an AssignOfficial Member then you are already receiving all the updated info.
There are three email lists:
1. AssignOfficial Officials, Assigners, Mentors, and Assessors.
2. AssignOfficial Contact Members (Leagues, Schools, Event Holders, ADs, Coaches, etc.).
3. Referee/Non-Referee, Non-AO-Member (working toward becoming a member of an association or group, or considering becoming a sports official).
Email lists #1 & #2 are reserved for current active AO officials and AO contact members.
Email list #3 is per request.
If you are not an AO Member, AO Contact Member, or not already on this list but interested in becoming an AO Official, please request to be on the AO email list via the email you prefer to use as a sports official.
