To function properly, RefTown functions (particularly menus) require
that you enable javascript in your web browser.
Internet Explorer 7.0 & 8.0
- Open Internet Explorer
- Click Tools, and then click Internet Options
- Click the Security tab
- Click Internet to choose the Internet zone
- Click the Custom Level button
- Scroll down to the Scripting section and then, in Active
Scripting, click Enable
- Click OK to close Security Settings
- Click OK to close Internet Options
- Refresh your browser
iPhone
- Go to the Home screen by pressing the Home button or by
unlocking your phone.
- Press the settings button
- Select Safari from the Settings menu
- Turn on JavaScript by touching the JavaScript toggle
- Press the Home button to return the the iPhone home screen
- Select the Safari icon to return to Safari
Internet Explorer 6.x
- Access the Tools menu and select Internet Options
- Click the Security tab
- In the Security dialog, click on the globe for
"Internet" zone
- Click on the button labeled "Custom Level"
- In the dialog that appears, scroll down to the heading
called "Scripting"
- Click the "Enable" button under "Active
Scripting" to turn JavaScript on
Firefox 2.x & 3.x
- Open Firefox.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click on the Content icon. (Fig. 1)
- Check the box next to Enable JavaScript. (Fig. 1)
- Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced
JavaScript Options box. (Fig. 2)
- Check the boxes under Allow scripts to section that
you want to allow.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
Safari
- Open Safari
- On the Safari menu, click on Preferences.
- Click the Security icon.
- Click on Enable JavaScript next to the Web
Content section if it is not checked.
- Close the Preferences window.
- Close and restart Safari.
