THE 2025 BASEBALL SEASON is just around the corner!!

• The Portland Baseball Umpires Association is always looking for a few good men and women to become umpires.
• This is the perfect time to sign up and become an umpire for the PBUA.
• Go to "Main" tab in the upper left hand corner and click on the "Registration for Officials"  and fill in all your information and experience.
• Our training meetings are held at Westside Christian High School and start at 7:00pm and end at 9:00pm
• Training meeting schedule will begin in February 2025 and will continue through May 2025.
• PBUA 2-person clinic will be held on Saturday, February 8th. Times and location to be determined.
• We have the Training and we have the Trainers, we just need someone who wants to learn and have FUN.
• Umpiring is a way to enjoy the game, give back to the kids and make some extra money while being active.

MLB Advantage Course

The MLB Advantage Course is designed for umpires looking to excel at a MLB One Day Camp. Considering a potential umpire only gets a few hours in front of MLB supervisors, a week's worth of professional training can be the difference in receiving a job in professional baseball or merely being another face in the crowd. Amateur Advanced Training Umpire Course

The Amateur Advanced Training Umpire Course is intended for students seeking a more comprehensive training regimen in the Two-Umpire System. Advanced classroom rules areas will be covered, including some exclusive, bonus night classroom sessions. This course is recommended for already-established college umpires or umpires who have taken the Amateur Basic Training Umpire Course.
